Why is Fall Prevention Training important?
All movements of daily life become easier and safer when the body has better control. Anyone can fall, but the risk of falling becomes greater with age. Hip fractures are the most common type of fall injury among older adults. Factors that can increase your risk of falling are poor balance, decreased muscle and bone strength and reduced vision and hearing. Exercises that focus on balance and strength training can reduce the risk of falling. The program is designed to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance.
